Localist

Localist is the largest directory of its type in New Zealand, with over 200,000 listed businesses across the country. With Localist coming under new ownership, our task was to take this platform and transform it to improve the user experience for businesses and visitors.

We’ve provided multiple services for Localist, from graphic design, to a web development service, social media, email touchpoints, Google Ads, and Copywriting.

Following the first stage of significant improvement, we created and implemented a major new feature to Localist – an online shopping experience. With this feature, businesses can sell their products and services directly on their listing. This creates for them an extra revenue channel without the expense of a new e-commerce website, whilst the consumer gets a super-easy way to purchase awesome products and services.

We love working on Localist for many reasons, one of which is that it promotes the best of New Zealand local.
