A Quick Turnaround Coffee & Food App

Our work
We created a solution for a popular Tauranga cafe that needed to provide customers with a contactless, pre-order, pick-up choice for coffee and menu options during Covid-19 restrictions and thereafter. We managed to do this through our own innovative solution called Bumpzi which is super affordable (the monthly cost equivalent works out to be a cup of coffee every day) and is proven to lead to increased sales.

Our work
The product we created for this project was a Progressive Web Application, commonly referred to as a PWA. In this approach, a PWA runs in the browser (instead of a mobile app, which is installed on a device). The advantage is that it can be used on both mobile and desktop, and you’re spared the app store process. That said, people love apps and the choice for a business between a PWA and mobile app often comes down to resources (please don’t hesitate to ask us any questions about this).
For Checkliso, our PWA is a product that provides businesses with an easy-to-use sign in/out register (eg, for use by tradies on a building site), coupled with having key documents all in one place (eg, on an iPad). It is a comprehensive tool that can keep across the many moving parts of a business, from assigning delivery jobs, for example, to keeping across inventories and health and safety records). What’s more, a business can add further personalisation by giving it a name, such as Check Simon.
For this project, we also provided a range of other services, including our logo conception and creation service as we created all the brand elements.

Bumpzi is a PWA, which was required as we needed to get the product up and running swiftly during Covid-19 restrictions. It is a product that enables contactless, pre-ordered pick-ups of items, such as food and coffee. That makes it ideal for busy cafes, as they can modify it with their own branding and products. Bumpzi can also be used for retail and any business that wants to provide customers with a pre-order, pre-arranged pick-up option.
